Myanmar Cyclone...

According to the Los Angeles Times 22,000 people died and 41,000 were missing in Myanmar. I just wanted this post to go out to all of the lives that were lost and to all that are missing. My thoughts and prayers are with those people during this horrible time.

Could the fame be too much sometimes?

So I came across this picture and an article about poor Amy Winehouse. We all know about the rumors of Amy being on crack and we have all seen the pictures, but in thi sartcile it says that duirng a recording in a studio in England she just decided to leave and strip down to her bra and go for a run.... I feel really bad for her and all the other celebs who have addiction problems and the fact that they are famous we all know about their probelms and see pictures of them But I guess that is what caomes with stardom.... I mean look at Brittney Spears she has had so many break downs and almost all of thme it seems like have been public, can you imagine. When I was younger I always thought about what it would be like to be famous and I thought that I would like to be one day but now that I am an adult I would not want to be famous at all. For the simple fact of losing your privacy it seems like. How whould you like the whold to know your every move? It would be horrible, or to even have rumors made up about you, how horrible. It makes me wonder though that if that fact of being famous and not hvaing any privacy is what leads to these young stars to drug or alchol addictaion, just trying to escape reality for a little bit, or maybe the fame leads to their break downs that all of us have witness at one time or another, like poor Mariah Carey's on MTV, or more recent Paula Abdul's carzy behavior. Not to mention the party girls gane crazy like Paris and lindsey...... There is a huge laundry list of celebs personal problems that have become publc, and my advice is to these stars is: Try and get a hold of yourself because many young children look up to you and you are setting horrible exmaples!

Mehdi Shahbazi Talk.....

I am in team dynamite and we talked about the story of Mehdi Shahbazi in our presentation. I just wanted to say something about how some people did not think he went about striking against Shell Oil. I know that a hunger strike is quite an extreme, but that is what he chose to do. He was very passoniate about this and wanted to get hos point across. It takes someone like Shahbazi to take a stand and do soemthing none of us would do. That fact that we are taliking about him and his story and his cause is a start to all of us taking some kind of action. We are all sick and tired of the gas prices and we all should be doing more about it, I am not saying that everyone needs to go on a hunger strike but if every body did a little bit, that could help. I really have a lot of respect for Mr. Shahbazi and his cause and I wish there were more leaders in this world such as himself.

My lil Sis

I am so very behind on blogging, I have been super busy but I am making a come back! This post is going to be dedicated to my younger sister because she has just begun an incredible journey. My sister 21years and is a certified massage therapist. She has recerntly been hired by the Steiner Company, which is a company that owns 150 spas on different cruise lines. Their main headquarters are in England and that is where they train all of their new employees. So two weeks ago my baby sis (who has barely ever left Cali let alone the country) left for England. I am so very excited for her because she is going to be seeing the world!!!! So for the last two weeks she has been trainning at this company and learning how to sell their spa products and such, and right now at this very moment she is off to Finland! The company felt that she was ready to leave on her ship, so off they sent her... She is a little nervous but I know she will be fine. This is going to be such an amazing expeience that she will carry with her for the rest of her life. She will be working on the cruise ship for 8 months. This summer she will be doing a cruise that goes all over Scandinavia.... Then in fall she does a cruise that does New England and Cananda..... and then she ends her journey doing a cruise in the Caribbean. I am sooo very jealous but excited for her at the same time. Just wantd to share with everyone, I am so PROUD OF HER!!!
