Death Penalty or not?

In just coming upon this article from the New York Times (Click on my title of this post "Death Penalty or not" to read the New York Times article, I don't know why but it linked it there LOL) about the six men are going to trial for thier invovlment in 9/11. Take a look at the article and let me know what you think. It made me think about the death penalty in general and I really don't know how I feel about it. I think that people who committ horrible cirmes should face the ultimate punishment, which in this case is the death penalty, but at the same time I began to think about how do we ever really know if they did do it? I am not just talking about these six men, I am talking about anyone put on death row. How do we know they weren't set up, were they forced to say certain things or give certain names because they were tourchered of threatened? It leaves me confused about how I feel about the death penalty.... what do you think?
