Gov. Spitzer....
Recently in the news I have been hearing a lot about Gov. Spitzer and his prostitute situation. Spitzer has resgined as govenor, and gave speech and apologized for his actions. I could not help but to look at his poor wife the whole time feel sorry for her. How embarrassing this all must be for her. I know that men cheating on their wives happens all the time. But when you are a public figure like that, seriously I don't understand how the govenor didn't think of his wife, family and his career before doing what he did. i also know that if I were his wife i would not have been standing by him during that speech and I would definitely left him for his embarrassing and disguisting actions. I really do feel sorry for his wife, kids and family for having to go through that. Not just govenors or public figures but all people really need to think of others before conductiing such actions as he did. I mean seriously I don't understand how people can be so selfish. And feel bad for the family because it would be hard enough to find out that your dad or husband did such a thing, but it makes it even worse when the whole world has found out as well.

What I want to know is if they make the women stand by their husbands while they admit to adultery just to save face. How humiliating.It's a difficult situationn to deal with especially when the world knows about it. He should have known he was going to get caught. They always do.
Thats what I am wondering! When I saw her up there with him during his apology speech, all I could think was if that was me there was no way I would have stood next to him. I do wonder if she just stood there for the speech, just so the media wouldn't freak out about her not being there.
